Paola Scharberg

Paola Scharberg (she/her) is a collage artist and photographer from southern Spain, now based in St. Louis since 2017. Self-taught, she began with a Kodak film camera and transitioned from still life to nature-inspired landscape photography and collage art. Since 2019, her collages have explored themes of distance, self-exploration, and the human-nature connection. Her work has been exhibited at venues like the Denver Art Museum, Art St. Louis, and the St. Louis Artists Guild.

Ariel K. Moniz

Ariel K. Moniz (she/her) is a queer Black poetess from Hawaii, winner of the 2016 Droste Poetry Award, and a Best of the Net nominee. Her work appears in publications like Archetype: A Literary Journal and The Centifictionist. She co-founded and edits The Hyacinth Review. Her first poetry chapbook, "Nostos Algos," was published in the Autumn of 2023 by Ethel Zine and Micro-Press.

Katie May

Katie May (she/her) a retail industry luminary, is renowned for her commitment to sustainability. Beginning her career at 16, she left the corporate fashion world in December 2014 after a personal tragedy. She founded BLACKSHEEP Vintage and later May's Place with her husband Andy, focusing on sustainability and community. May's Place champions vintage fashion and conscious consumerism, reflecting her belief that fashion should be ethical and eco-friendly. 

Lily June

Lily June (she/her) is from Sacramento, California, and pursued a degree in film production at CSU Northridge. As the eldest sibling and first in her family to attend college, Lily's passion for writing began at age 9 with her first song. She honed her craft through essays, poetry, and other literary forms, sharing her work on her blog to invite others into her creative journey.

Alex McLaughlin

Alex McLaughlin (he/him) is a project-based photographer exploring the photograph as an unverifiable document. Using alternative techniques, he distorts photographic precision by introducing uncertainty. Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Alex graduated with degrees in Photography and Art History from Washington University in St. Louis in 2023. He currently lives and works between St. Louis, MO, and Brooklyn, NY.

Natalia Parr

Natalia Parr (she/her) is a digital strategist with a passion for fostering community. As the founder of Parr Creative Agency, she blends her expertise in digital storytelling, production, creative direction, community engagement, and content creation.

Sujash Purna

Sujash Purna (he/him) is a Bangladeshi poet, photographer, and PhD student based in Madison, Wisconsin. He is the author of "Epidemic of Nostalgia,'' "Simple Fantasies" (Finishing Line Press), “In Love with the Broken” (Bottlecap Press), and “Azans for the Infidel” (Mouthfeel Press). His photography appeared in the Nassau Review, Invisible City, Mud Season Review, Barely South Review, Barzakh, Salmon Creek Journal, and others.

Kat Slivka

Kat Slivka (she/her) lives in the West County area of St. Louis with her husband, Michael, and dogs, Cipher and Pixel. Kat is a professional designer, water gardener, and folklorist who loves to learn and share her stories and skills by helping others. Kat enjoys traveling to haunted locations throughout the United States and spending time in nature whenever possible.

Michelle Reichert

Michelle Reichert (she/they) lives in St. Louis with their wife, Sheri, and daughter, Izabella. Previously Michelle has been published in small publications with prior works focusing more on poetry and erotica. Michelle is thrilled to learn more about her chosen Jewish religion. Bringing to life Jewish myths and folklore through a modern young adult fiction lens is a passion project.

E.K. Holmead

E.K. Holmead (they/them) is a multidimensional creator who resides in South City, St. Louis. Their mind’s eternal flame is sparked by the infinite masks worn by human life, the complexity of nature, and the energy that breathes beyond our reality. They play with their imagination through poetry, foraged plant arrangements, abstract art, and many other avenues. They channel universal spirit full-time for clients who are seeking guidance along their inner journeys through a toolbox filled with intuitive divination readings, elemental energy practices, and shadow work. Most of their days are spent dreaming up a new world, supporting the roots of their emotions, and listening intently to the tales of the world that surrounds them.

Charitza Song

Charitza Song (she/her) is a creative based in Brooklyn, New York. Drawing from her Chinese-Dominican heritage and studies in the human sciences, she crafts works that accentuate the interplay between culture, psychology, and sociology. Her work bridges the gap between our conscious and subconscious selves, gently challenging us to awaken our innate curiosity

MK Zariel

MK Zariel (he/they) is a trans-liberationist organizer in the Great Lakes region and beyond. They create radical media, perform theater and poetry, and try to create queer spaces whenever they can. MK Zariel is the author of the Y2K-style anarchist advice column DEBATE ME BRO, host of youth-liberationist podcast THE CHILD AND ITS ENEMIES, youth correspondent at the Anarchist Review of Books, creator of queer spaces, and performance poet. 

Maxine Thirteen

Maxine (she/her) is a self-taught, figurative painter known for her oil portraits that blend bygone eras, the surreal, and the macabre. Inspired by old films, vintage ads, and pin-ups, her work explores femininity, social satire, and introspection, often incorporating morbid elements into glamorous imagery to both entice and disturb. A full-time artist since 2019, she has exhibited widely in Saint Louis and beyond. Maxine is currently a resident artist at 31art Gallery in St. Louis and is represented by Union Gallery in New Orleans.

Elle Fitzgibbons

Elle Fitzgibbons (they/them), a dynamic genderfluid portrait photographer from STL, channel their creative fervor into vibrant, conceptual imagery. Their heart beats loudest for projects that burst with color and imagination. Currently, Elle is eagerly anticipating the unveiling of their latest endeavor, "Infinite Spectrum," a profound exploration of our local non-binary and transgender community. This captivating exhibition is set to grace the walls of Wildfruit Projects in June 2025, igniting anticipation in Elle's artistic soul.

Amy Stahl

Amy Stahl, (she/her) is a 33-year-old aficionado of all things geeky, fueled by a fervent love for storytelling, culinary adventures, and the companionship of her feline friends. Despite her undeniable charm, Amy admits to a struggle with social media presence, often finding herself at odds with the art of posting online. With a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology, Amy delves into the intricacies of human culture with a curious mind and an insatiable thirst for knowledge. 

Marina May Schleicher

Marina May Schleicher (b. 1994, St. Louis, Missouri) is a writer, gallery director, and podcaster based in St. Louis. With degrees in Art History and Anthropology from Washington University, she co-founded Silver Space in 2017, rebranding it to cool WIP in 2023. L

L (they/them) is a visual poet who has visions about the future in the form of rhythmic verses. Their poetry is equal parts spellwork and literary playground. When not striving to be a dominatrix to the English language, they create paintings and sculptures for when words do not suffice. They’ve lived in many places, but have been proud to call St. Louis home since 2017.

Jennifer Ditlevson Haglund

Jennifer Ditlevson Haglund (she/her) is a writer and occasional commercial model with experience in news, education, and marketing. Originally from Oklahoma and raised in Northeastern Ohio, she holds a BA in English and Journalism from Ashland University and an MA in English from Baylor University. Her writing illuminates the unseen and often pairs the beautiful with the grotesque, aiming to capture what is real and possible with honesty and hope.

Jonah Munzer

Jonah Munzer (he/him) leads the Munzer Brothers Art Foundation in democratizing art and fostering inclusivity in St. Louis. With a background spanning marketing, politics, and non-profits, he excels in social media, content creation, and strategic development. Jonah's leadership integrates creativity with vision, as seen in his role at the foundation and @STLfoodiegram, highlighting local cuisine. His pursuits in art, fitness, and culinary exploration reflect a commitment to positive community impact.

Aaron Munzer

Aaron Munzer (he/him), a St. Louis native now in Miami, Florida, manages IT projects and co-founded Model City Solutions. He's also on the Board of Directors at the Munzer Brothers Art Foundation (MBAF). Passionate about art and community, he's active in curating and plans to open Gallery STL in Miami to showcase St. Louis artists. MBAF's Gallery STL on Cherokee Street highlights its commitment to fostering creativity and community engagement.

De'Joneiro Jones

Born and raised in St. Louis, De'Joneiro Jones (he/him) started in the clothing business before finding his own style in paintings and mixed-media art. His work, a form of therapy and self-expression after a health challenge in 2012, has been showcased in numerous galleries and recognized regionally. De'Joneiro is celebrated as an "Unsung Human Rights Hero" and contributes to projects like the Never Ending Story Mural Project, emphasizing art's role in cultural expression and social change.

Taylor Powers

Taylor Powers (she/her) is a poet and music festival photographer based in Chicago, IL. She is a co-founder and editor of Pot/Luck Literary Magazine, as well as the sole creative force behind attack of the fembots on Substack. You can find her first book of poetry, “Narcissism is the sincerest form of self-love”, at her hometown library branch (!) and online. When she's not writing, check The Music Box for signs of life.

Audrey Pinson

Audrey Pinson (she/her) is the summer intern for MyrtleHaus. She is a journalism student at Mizzou from St. Louis. With a passion for storytelling, photography, and art, she strives to produce relevant work in her undergraduate studies as she moves toward a career in journalism and art direction.
